About

Born in the UK as the eldest of three boys to Ghanaian parents, Leslie Nelson grew up immersed in both British and Ghanaian cultures. His father was an accountant and his mother worked in publishing—values of discipline, education, and hard work shaped his path early on. A gifted athlete, he competed in football (soccer), tennis, and track, holding his school’s record in the 100M high hurdles. Today, he channels that same competitive spirit into golf, maintaining a 9 handicap. Leslie’s educational journey spans multiple continents: Salisbury Secondary School and Barnet College in the UK, the University of Ghana (BA Hons in History & English), and New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he earned his MBA in Finance and Global Business. He also completed executive education in Asset Management at NYU. A devoted husband and father of two daughters, Leslie enjoys traveling with his family, spending quality time with his mother and extended relatives, and exploring culture through film and television. Balancing a demanding career with strong personal roots, he brings integrity, global perspective, and a commitment to meaningful impact both professionally and personally.
